PDP and SDP members defect in-mass to APC
He has
been good to us, we are morally obligated to reciprocate – decampees
The
senatorial ambition of Mallam Salihu Mustapha, on Saturday 17th of September,
2022, receives another political advantage.
This came
following a massive defection of members of the opposition parties from the
People’s Democratic Party, PDP and Social SDP defect to the ruling Party, APC.
The defection,
which could be described as mass exodus due to the huge number of the decampees
took place at Gambari ward 1 amidst excitement and enthusiasm.
Receiving
the decampees on behalf of APC Kwara Senatorial candidate, Mr. Tunji Buhari
salutes the decampee for the bold step in putting the interest of Kwara Central
first by choice to throw their weight behind Senatorial bid of Turaki Ngeri.
Mr. Tunji Buhari charged the decampees to remain resolute wit their unalloyed
support for APC Senatorial Candidate and Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for
more democratic dividends.
Speaking
during the event, the defectors described the move as inevitable, given the
contribution and commitment of Mallam Salihu Mustapha to the wellbeing of the
Central, Kwara and human capital in general, irrespective of the divides.
